Jumping Into Your Work March 11th, 2024

“Set yourself earnestly to discover what you are made to do, and then give yourself passionately to the doing of it.” - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Do you get up every morning so excited about going to work you can hardly wait to get there? Don you clean the house with great enthusiasm or do the grocery shopping with great vigor? You were made to do a lot of things! You were designed with infinite possibility. The beauty of growing and changing and becoming is that it means you are seeking new ways to define yourself. You are earnestly trying to discover the best possible you to share with the world.

Whatever you do, when you realize how important it is to God and to those around you, you do with more gusto. You do it because it is “your thing” to do and you love it. You do it because somehow everything about feels right to you. You have a lot of gifts and talents. The ones that really make your light shine are those that God meant for you to do.

You’re doing amazing things!

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” - James 1:17 NIV

Let us pray: Lord, thank You for the gifts and talents You’ve given me. Help me to discover more of what You know I can be so that I can work to Your glory. Amen.
