Another Helping Of Love February 19th, 2024

When you were younger, you may have aspired to do something extraordinary, something the world would recognize as really great. It was a lofty goal and a good idea because it’s always good to strive to become more than we are at one moment in time. Big goals require dedication, courage, and a willingness to fail. They also require greater love.

Love gets you started on a path that seems especially right for you. Another helping of love is needed though when you understand the realities of the work involved and the effort it takes to get where you want to go. The second helping of love that truly sparks greatness though is the kind that includes others, this is motivated by the outcome of your goal and how it makes life better for those around you. When we’re truly motivated by love, then anything we do, big or small becomes a great thing in the eyes of God.

Keeping your heart in tune with His goals, designed with love, will help you to achieve worthy things every day.

Let us pray: Lord, help me to strive to achieve the things that are great in Your eyes. Help me to desire to be more like You in all that I do. Amen.
